Get Involved with the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce

Getting involved is the best way to take advantage of your membership in the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce. It's a great way to get to know fellow members, and it's fun. No matter how much time you'd like to invest, we have an opportunity that's right for you. To sign up, download the sign up form or call the Chamber office at 773/880-5200 for more information.

Member Minutes

Feedback Forums
Objective: This is your Chamber. Tell us what you need. Your feedback helps shape the Chamber's initiatives.

Walk and Talk
Objective: No time for exercise? This is a great way to network with members and spread the Chamber's message to the local business community.

Helping Hands
Objective: Join our "go-to list" of member volunteers for special mailings, to serve as event greeters and for other fun activities.

Work Groups

Annual Holiday Gala
Objective: Help plan the Chamber's fun and fancy year-end party.

Swinging Summer Festivals
Objective: Nothing says Summer better than volunteering for Chamber festivals. Help recruit your friends, family and co-workers for an always good time.

Sponsorship
Objective: Ensure the financial future and success of your Chamber.

Task Forces

Bank Task Force
Objective: Open to all bankers. Stay aware through an established network for education and communication between member banks.

Retail Task Force
Objective: Open to all retailers. Keep your sales strong through education, networking and special initiatives.

CAPS Hospitality Subcommittee
Objective: Open to all restaurant and bar owners/managers. Receive information and discuss issues affecting the hospitality industry: liquor licenses, new ordinances, zoning, etc.

Committees

Membership Attraction
Objective: Bring in new members and build the Chamber's network - a win-win for you and the Chamber.

Ambassadors
Objective: Be the first to welcome and mentor new members to your Chamber. (Participants must be a Chamber member for at least 6 months before participating on this committee.)

Membership Retention
Objective: Share all you've gained from your Chamber involvement. (Participants must be a Chamber member for at least 6 months before participating on this committee.

Government Affairs
Objective: Advocate on behalf of Chamber members at the state and local level.
