The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) is excited to offer the following membership committees to better serve the needs of our members and help the LPCC's newest members transition smoothly and quickly into the organization.

Ambassador Committee

Ambassadors help the LPCC by serving as mentors to new members to assist them with ways to maximize their membership. They will also serve as hosts of the New Member Orientations, and reach out to new businesses in the area to discuss LPCC membership. Ambassadors are those members who have been a part of the LPCC for at least a year, have attended one New Member Orientation and at least one networking event.

Greeter Committee

The Greeter Program provides members with an opportunity to get involved in the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) by serving as greeters at LPCC events. Any member may serve as a greeter by signing up with the LPCC staff.

Greeter Committee Responsibilities

• Devote 15 minutes of time at the beginning or end of an event to assist the LPCC staff with welcoming and hosting duties
• Greet members as they arrive and direct them to the correct check-in line, coat check or event space
• Spend a few minutes with new members and guests to help them feel at ease and introduce them to people they might like to meet
• Collect name tags at the end of the event
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the LPCC

• Smoother check-in and less confusion at events

The LPCC's Membership Committee is tasked with providing the necessary tools, resources and programming for local businesses to develop powerful and meaningful connections while marketing their brand to the Lincoln Park community and beyond.

Member Discounts & Revenue Programs Committee

The LPCC regularly works with our members on programs that can serve other chamber members.  However, businesses often approach the LPCC with ideas that may not serve our mission.  The Member Discounts & Revenue Programs Committee is working to develop guidelines for these kinds of partnerships and will actively seek out the kinds of programs that will benefit our members.
