DePaul University’s Office of Community & Government Relations connects DePaul to Chicago and the world by strengthening relationships between DePaul’s Chicago and overseas programs and communities. These local, government and global relationships further enhance DePaul’s mission to prepare students not only to better understand, but to influence and shape the world in which they live.

Community Affairs at DePaul serves as a link between DePaul and its neighbors – the residents, businesses, neighborhood, alderman, civic and ethnic organizations of the City of Chicago. This office also facilitates communication and engagement with The City of Chicago and its Departments. DePaul wants students, faculty, and staff to enjoy the neighborhood businesses through patronage and collaboration.
