Chicagoland Chamber’s Op-Ed Strikes a Nerve

Theresa Mintle, CEO of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, published a powerful op-ed in Crain’s Chicago Business calling for the Chicago business community to stand united in opposition of continued costly mandates and taxes.

She writes, “The time has come for Chicago’s business community to demand that City Hall cease and desist from the onslaught of new taxes, fees and regulations that are suffocating commerce. Make no mistake, there is a silent anti-business agenda emanating from city government that threatens the economic competitiveness and future growth of the greatest city in the world.”
