Lincoln Avenue Corridor Plan Open House

Posted on November 15, 2016

It’s your neighborhood – give us your feedback! Join us on Tuesday, November 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Victory Gardens Theater (2433 N. Lincoln) for a community open house to review Lincoln Avenue Corridor Plan recommendations provided by The Lakota Group, Goodman Williams Group and Sam Schwartz Engineering.

The Planning Committee will start the evening with a brief presentation highlighting some of the Lincoln Avenue Corridor’s current challenges with their recommendations on how to address these issues.

After the presentation, attendees are invited to give their input on the preliminary planning concepts, designs and ideas which will assist in developing a list of priorities for the Corridor’s future.

This plan, funded through the Lincoln Avenue Special Service Area (SSA #35-2015), will be used to guide improvements to this important corridor in the heart of Lincoln Park.

The focused study area for this project stretches along Lincoln from Webster on the south to Diversey Avenue on the north. Given the significant changes along Lincoln Avenue, from the redevelopment of the former Children’s Memorial Hospital and the ELEVATE Lincoln Park project, to the construction of the new DePaul Music School, now is a critical time to plan for the future of this corridor.

Please RSVP by Monday, November 28. RSVP’s are requested but not required.
