LPCC Hosts Community Meeting to Unveil Lincoln Avenue Revitalization Strategy

Posted on May 8, 2018

The LPCC is excited to unveil the Lincoln Avenue Revitalization Strategy in partnership with 43rd Ward Alderman Michele Smith, Wrightwood Neighbors Association and Lincoln Central Association at a community meeting on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. A reception will be held starting at 6:00 p.m. with a presentation from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater (2433 N. Lincoln).

This plan, funded through the Lincoln Avenue Special Service Area (SSA #35-2015), will be used to guide improvements to this historic corridor in the heart of Lincoln Park.

The plan includes recommendations for public way improvements and aesthetics; corridor branding, marketing, and placemaking; and business attraction. The study area for this project stretches along Lincoln from Webster on the south to Diversey on the north.

Given the significant changes along Lincoln Avenue, from the new Lincoln Common and the ELEVATE Lincoln Park projects, to the construction of the new DePaul University School of Music, the LPCC is thrilled to share this plan with the community.

This event but RSVP’s are requested. Please RSVP here if you’re able to attend.
