While preparing a family estate sale with Everything But the House, Lincoln Park’s Wiesinger family donated their family piano to the Lincoln Park High School Band and Orchestra Parents association.

In April, DNA Info Chicago reported that “since 2010, Lincoln Park High School has ranked among the top four music departments in the state, according to the Illinois High School Association. The school offers 14 curricular band and orchestra classes, as well as pep band, orchestral chamber music and jazz combo.”

The Lincoln Park High School Band and Orchestra Parents Instrument drive is ongoing. With the recent CPS budget crisis, funding for ancillary programs has been drastically cut. Click here to donate and for more information.
