Family & Social Services

Juvenile Protective Association
The Juvenile Protective Association’s mission is to improve the social and emotional well-being of vulnerable children through relationship-oriented therapeutic interventions.

Anixter Center
Anixter Center provides an array of services for individuals with disabilities and related challenges to live, learn, work and play in the community.

Care for Friends
Care for Friends provides easy access to community, food and overall wellness for Chicago’s most vulnerable and under-served people, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

Green City Market
Green City Market is cultivating a more sustainable Chicago food system – and they couldn’t do so without the support of farmers, chefs, volunteers, and donors. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, they rely on donations to carry out their mission.

Lakeview Pantry
With 3 food distribution programs that deliver more than 1.6 million pounds of food to their neighbors each year and social services that help clients achieve independence, Lakeview Pantry aims to end hunger for good. Join us to be part of the solution.

Lincoln Park Community Shelter
LPCS provides interim housing, meals, and a focused array of social services to more than 400 people each year.

Marillac St. Vincent Family Services
Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been serving communities in need for over 100 years. As a ministry of the Daughters of Charity St. Vincent de Paul, they provide vital programs and services in the areas of early childhood education, youth services, and community outreach.

Park West Cooperative Nursery School
Park West Cooperative provides a stimulating and nurturing preschool environment where parents play an integral part in their child’s first school experience.

The Salvation Army
For over 100 years The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers have provided spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.

Chicago History Museum
The Chicago History Museum is dedicated to sharing the stories that illuminate our city’s vivid history through education, exhibitions, and preserving their collection of historical items.

Emerald City Theatre
Emerald City Theatre is a non-profit organization that celebrates all of Chicago’s children through playful, professional, and culturally relevant artistic programs that motivate young people to creatively face the world.

Greenhouse Theater Center
The Greenhouse Theater Center’s mission is to grow local theatre. All donations go directly into their programming, including world-class productions, the Trellis young playwright residency initiative, and their undergraduate immersion program.

Lincoln Park Boat Club
Their mission is to make boating accessible, affordable, safe, and fun for club associates and all members of the Chicago metropolitan community.

Lincoln Park Zoo
Lincoln Park Zoo is dedicated to connecting people with nature by providing a free, family-oriented wildlife experience in the heart of Chicago and by advancing the highest quality of animal care, education, science and conservation.

The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
For 160 years, the Chicago Academy of Sciences / Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum has worked to connect the citizens of Chicago to nature and science through immersive exhibits, family events and in-depth education programs.
