State of the Ward Luncheon and Annual Meeting

On January 27, more than 120 members, other area business owners and community leaders attended LPCC's State of the Ward Luncheon and Annual Meeting. 

Aldermen Scott Waguespack (32nd) and Vi Daley (43rd) presented their vision for the neighborhood and business landscape in 2009, highlighting their obligation to balancing the city's budget without breaking the banks of businesses.  The Aldermen shared in many of the successes of 2008: the Lincoln Park Community Art Initiative, beautification projects along Clark and Lincoln and the creation of open forums to discuss the future of the Children's Memorial Hospital site.
