New Business Scam

A new scam may be affecting businesses.  Be on the lookout for the following warning signs, shared by a LPCC member:

"We just had a woman posing as a client come into our studio & offices and steal over $400 in cash out of our staff's personal belongings. She came in one day to ask questions about our schedule & services and left. The next day she came in claiming she had an appointment, asked to use the bathroom, and then when left alone for a few minutes, quickly located & took money from different purses in our back room & left through a fire exit."

If you suspect anything, please contact 911.  In addition, any information shared with the LPCC that affects the local business community will be posted to our website to draw further awareness.
