LPCC Member Honored By American Marketing Association
Gene Fisher, Executive Director of the Diversey Harbor Lakeview Association and active LPCC member has been honored for his work in the marketing field by the American Marketing Association.
Article Excerpts (as told by Fisher):
Gene Fisher
President, Fisher Marketing Intelligence, Inc.
Executive Director, Diversey Harbor Lakeview Association
Current Projects:
After serving 40 years in a series of marketing management positions (including research) with Brunswick Corporation I retired as the Corporation’s Marketing Director. Currently, I am president of my namesake company, Fisher Marketing Intelligence (FMI), focusing on assignments in marketing, marketing research and communications.
AMA Involvement:
During my 38-year membership I’ve made presentations at several AMA events, such as a Midwest Marketing Research Conference produced by the Chicago Chapter, and an Annual Marketing Research Conference produced by the National AMA organization.
Favorite AMA events:
My favorite events are the annual general interest conferences,
because they typically address a breadth of issues, and because
they offer the best opportunity to exchange views with researchers
from a broad spectrum of industries.
I think the greatest benefit of membership comes from:
…the AMA’s ability to offer its members an accessible and effective
window to advancements in their profession’s state of the art.
