Steppenwolf Theatre Company Presents: An Evening with David Sedaris June 8 - 13, 2010
Steppenwolf Theatre Company welcomes back best-selling author and NPR humorist David Sedaris for eight performances only in An Evening with David Sedaris: June 8 - 13, 2010 in Steppenwolf’s Upstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted St. David Sedaris will be reading selections from his soon-to-be-released book Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary, due out in October. The performance will be followed by a Q&A session and book/CD signing with Mr. Sedaris.

LPCC Responds to Proposed Ban on Massage Parlors
As signs point slowly toward economic recovery the focus in Chicago and across the country should be on job creation and new business development. The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) appreciates and encourages entrepreneurial spirit as a key element in filling empty storefronts along key commercial districts and as a result, strictly opposes the proposed ordinance banning massage parlors in business areas near residential properties.

LPCC Responds to Proposed Vacation Rental Ordinance
Chicago is a diverse city with international charm and visitors. Helping welcome thousands of tourists each year from across the globe is the city’s equally diverse stock of hotels, motels, guest houses and other accommodations for visitors. With this in mind, the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce is against the proposed Vacation Rental Ordinance and $500 per unit fee associated with it.
