June Part of It, Proud of It

Congratulations to Dentistry for Children (1721 N. Halsted) on being selected as the LPCC's June "Part of It, Proud of It" recipient. Dentistry For Children was one of the first pediatric dental practices in Chicago to recognize and incorporate a nutrition-focus into each exam and consultation. Since establishing a presence in Lincoln Park over 15 years ago, they have promoted non-invasive procedures whenever possible, relying on parent/child cooperation, an established rapport with each patient and, appliance/orthodontic therapy to achieve the best possible results.

What one thing would you like everyone to know about your business?

We were one of the first pediatric dental practices in the city to incorporate nutritional counseling into all of our patient exams.  We want children and their parents to understand that healthy eating promotes healthy teeth and gums and thus, impacts their overall wellness.

What do you find most valuable about your membership with the LPCC?

The exposure to various businesses and people and the way all members work together for the common good of this community.

What’s your favorite thing about Lincoln Park?

The people, architecture, the diversityof this neighborhood.  It’s a fun place to practice pediatric dentistry.

About Part of It, Proud of It

Want to be included in a future "Part of It, Proud of It?" Proudly display your LPCC membership to the community for your shot! The LPCC's "Part of It, Proud of It" was created to honor and recognize members who clearly display their LPCC member logo and serve as a liason to other businesses and the surrounding community.  Members are randomly selected and only honored if their member decal is on display at the time of visitation.
