Vehicle Sticker Deadline Extension
There is an extension of the purchase and display deadline for the 2010 - 2011 annual vehicle sticker to Friday, July 30, 2010. The traditional grace period to July 15 has been extended to allow for the replacement of defective stickers that lacked sufficient adhesive. Enforcement of the 2010 - 2011 vehicle stickers will begin August 1.
If anyone received a defective sticker, they should bring the sticker to any City Clerk office location for a free replacement. Motorists also can receive a free replacement sticker via mail by calling 312-742- 9200 or emailing cityclerk@cityofchicago.org.
To purchase a 2010 - 2011 sticker in person, residents must bring their driver's license or renewal form and know their vehicle license plate number.
Annual vehicle stickers and residential parking as well as daily guest passes, motorcycle and scooter tags can all be purchased online at www.ChiCityClerk.com. Motorists should allow up to 14 days to receive the sticker by mail if purchased online.
