State Passes Small Business Assistance
On January 17 Governor Pat Quinn signed legislation creating the Small Business Job Creation Tax Credit, a credit that will assist small businesses and help former Put Illinois to Work participants gain employment.

The LPCC was pleasantly suprised and humlbled by the enormous turnout witnessed at the 43rd Ward Candidates Forum held on January 13, 2011. More than 215 residents and business leaders packed DePaul University for an active and engaging discussion about the issues in Chicago, and specifically the Lincoln Park Community.
