State Rep. Commends LPCC Member for Blizzard Service

In an article printed in the February 9-15, 2011 edition of the Inside-Booster newspaper (also an LPCC member), State Representative Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) commended St. Joseph Hospital and their staff and doctors for "quick work to offer vital assistance and rescue services to stranded motorists and area residents during the recent snowstorm.

"'St. Joseph Hospital and its staff did a remarkable job of being prepared, providing wonderful support to the community and making sure area residents received much-needed care,' Feigenholtz said. 'Whether checking symptoms of frostbite, taking in motorists who had been stranded on Lake Shore Drive or providing a warm place to sleep, St. Joseph Hospital stepped up to immense challenges the harsh weather brought'."
