From the corporate world to the kids' zone
In 2008, Jason Pullukat, 33, decided to move from his job in the corporate world at Kraft foods to become the owner of a franchise of the Goddard School in Lincoln Park. Located on Armitage and Clifton avenues, the school-serving children from six weeks to six years-opened this past week.
Juvenile Protective Association Receives Service Award
In 2010, more than 26,000 children in Illinois (including 7,000 in Cook County) were victims of child abuse or neglect, usually at the hand of their parents. The Juvenile Protective Association (JPA), a private, non-profit child welfare agency established in Chicago by Jane Addams in 1901, is on the front lines of preventing child abuse and preserving families.
LPCC Responds to Approval of Webster Square Zoning Change
On May 4, 2011 the Chicago City Council voted unanimously (44-0) to approve the zoning change required to transform the property that Lincoln Park Hospital once called home into a new, mixed-use development. The new development will feature condominiums, medical and professional office space as well as a Fresh Market grocery store.
The Goddard School located in Chicago is Open and Enrolling
The Goddard SchoolŪ, the premier preschool childcare center for children from six weeks to six-years-old, located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago at 1127 W. Armitage opened Monday, May 2nd.
