Cicada Pinning at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Take a piece of this historic periodical cicada emergence home with you from this workshop led by the Nature Museum's Curator of Entomology! Learn the ins and outs of insect pinning with a demonstration and guided instruction on pinning procedure and techniques using beautiful specimens of the cicada emergence going on right now. Leave this workshop with your very own pinned specimens for display. All materials will be provided. Participants 12-18 years old are welcome to join! Before registering a participant under 18 for the workshop, please email programs@naturemuseum.org.
