Debate Watch 2016: First Presidential Debate

September 26, 2016 | 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM

The 2016 presidential campaign is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Join the Chicago History Museum, in collaboration with WBEZ Chicago, for a series of panel discussions and televised viewings of the 2016 presidential debates, and watch history unfold live at the Museum.

Chicago columnist and political analyst Laura Washington will moderate the panel discussions featuring public officials, political scholars, election strategists and Chicago journalists. The events will be held at the Chicago History Museum at 7 p.m. before each candidate debate.

Panelists for Debate Watch: The First Presidential Debate include Jason DeSanto, senior lecturer at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, Chip Englander is a Republican political consultant, and Kitty Kurth, president of Kurth Lampe, a political consulting/PR firm for a discussion on how candidates and their campaign staff get ready for a debate.
