Halloween Window Painting at Lincoln Common
October 25, 2020 | 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Located in the heart of Lincoln Park, Lincoln Common will transform its storefront windows into spooky blank canvases for kids (and kids at heart) to paint their own Halloween mini-mural. Costumes and creativity are encouraged, and face masks are required.
Friends and family of all ages can register up to four people per window (cost is $10 per group, advanced registration required and includes a take-home paint set). Upon check-in at Lincoln Common Retailer, Play2Day (Boutique Childcare located at 2369 N. Lincoln Ave.), groups will receive their own painting kits to create a spine-chilling spectacle, plus parents can partake in exclusive discounts to participating Lincoln Common retailers.
HOW IT WORKS:
- PRIOR TO EVENT — Register your spooky squad for a time slot event here. Time slots are broken up into two-hour windows to maintain social distancing. Slots are open to maximum four per family or two adults, but attendees can reserve multiple slots at $10 each.
- DAY OF — Grab your creepiest costume, your favorite face mask, and arrive at Play2Day (2369 N. Lincoln Ave.) for check-in. Attendees will receive a paint kit and an invite to exclusive discounts at participating Lincoln Common retailers, and will be directed to your designated window.
- TIME TO PAINT — At your designated window, paint whatever Halloween scene your nightmares desire! At the end of your session, pack up your paints to take home and continue the fun. A grand prize will be awarded to the most creative window at the end of the weekend.
