History Happy Hour at the Chicago History Museum
August 15, 2017 | 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Sick of the same old after-work grind? Grab your pals and head on over for History Happy Hour! This monthly series features a deluxe spirits or beer tasting, plus flash tours highlighting our diverse collection.
Each month History Happy Hour is served up with a twist—with rotating beverage partners and unique explorations of the Museum. For August's edition, relive the spectacular wonders that were Chicago's two World's Fairs: The World's Columbian Expedition (1893) and A Century of Progress (1933-1934). Few Spirits, the first distillery in the home of the Temperance Movement, will be on hand to pour a selection of their Evanston-produced spirits, and DJ Lunatic will be spinning tunes.
General admission is free for Illinois residents on Tuesday evenings; purchase a ticket to History Happy Hour to enhance your experience.
