Mussel Fest & Kick-Off Reception

September kicks off mussels season and Lincoln Park’s Chez Moi invites guests to indulge at it’s Annual Mussel Fest or as the French say, moules!

The festivities begin with the Lagunitas Beer & Mussel Kick-Off Reception on Thursday, September 15th from 6-8 p.m. followed by a 10-day, all-you-can-eat mussels menu offered through Sunday, September 25th.

This fall, enjoy all-you-can-eat moules-frites, aka mussels and fries, a local favorite in France at Chez Moi! Inspired by “Le Festival de la Moule” celebrations across France, Chef Dominique Tougne, owner and Alsace native, will be preparing four original recipes of these mouth-watering delicacies: Lobster Bisque Mussels; Marinieres Mussels with white wine, shallots, parsley, butter and lemon; Belgium Mussels with beer, leeks, cream and bacon; and Mediterranean Mussels with chorizo, tomatoes, saffron rice, onions and basil.

Priced at $25, the kick-off reception will feature a preview of the mussel menu, where guests can go station-to-station sampling four different recipes for Chef Dominique Tougne! Each buffet station will feature a selection of Lagunitas beer paired with each recipe along with fries.

September 15th and through Sunday, September 25th, guests can enjoy the $25 All-You-Can-Eat-Mussels menu, which will include their choice of four different mussel recipes along with fries. Suggested beer and wine pairings available.
