Natalie Clark of Black Candy Design created the tapestries at the entrance to the Nature Museum's exhibit By A Thread: Nature's Resilience– now she's going to teach you to make your own!
Learn how to weave a nature-based design on a small frame loom. They will experiment with a variety of natural fibers like cotton, flax and nettle and learn how to incorporate grasses and other plant materials into an unexpected and colorful composition that celebrates the winter season.
Beginner friendly! All supplies provided!
One tapestry includes admission for the whole family! Additional tapestries are available to add-on to your admission.
Family and Family+ Members get discounted admission to this workshop. Please reach out to programs@naturemuseum.org with any questions.
