Lincoln Park’s hearth-centric dining destination, Ox Bar & Hearth™, turns up the heat on October 22 as co-owners Chef John Asbaty and Alain Uy welcome Jean Banchet’s 2026 Chef of the Year, John Manion (El Che Steakhouse and Bar, Brasero), for a one-night-only dinner celebrating live-fire cooking. The master of the flame will take over the wood-burning hearth alongside Chef Asbaty, bringing his bold, fire-driven flavors and techniques to the dining room for a special installment of the restaurant's inaugural collaborative dinner series. The evening begins with a reception featuring passed bites and a welcome cocktail, followed by a five-course collaborative menu inspired by the season.
