St. Pauls Church Capital Project Dedication

St. Pauls Church, 2335 N. Orchard Street in Lincoln Park and one of Chicago’s oldest Protestant churches, will celebrate the completion of Phase II of its “Expand and Elevate Our Openness” capital building project on Sunday morning, November 9, immediately following its 10 a.m. worship service. Inspired by a 2016 church strategic planning initiative, the nine-year, $6 million project has made all public spaces in the church complex accessible and created a tree-enhanced courtyard gathering plaza for use by its congregation, visitors, and Lincoln Park neighbors.

The short Service of Dedication will be held at 11:15 a.m. on November 9 in the new courtyard plaza (weather permitting). Alderman Timmy Knudsen of the 43rd Ward, an ongoing advocate of the project, will be present. It will be followed immediately by an “open to our Lincoln Park neighbors” Oktoberfest-style luncheon in the church gym.
