Summer Solstice Concert Featuring the Fifth Star Band

We are excited to announce that LCA, in collaboration with The Church of the Three Crosses and the Old Town Triangle Association, will once again participate in the city-wide Make Music Chicago celebration!
This annual event honors the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year — and brings communities across Chicago together through the joy and magic of live music.

This year’s entertainment will feature The Fifth Star Band, including several musicians who grew up right here in our neighborhood. Their sound is a modern take on classic American rock, blending funky old-school grooves with dance-worthy energy perfect for a summer afternoon in the park.

And since it’s Father’s Day, what better way to celebrate than with live music, fresh air, neighbors, and an afternoon of dancing in the park? Bring Dad, Grandpa, the whole family — or simply come enjoy the community spirit and kick off summer together!
