2021 Lincoln Park Fall & Halloween Guide

From fall festivals to Halloween events to festive adult nights out, there are many ways to celebrate in Lincoln Park this season.

Family Fun

Spooktacular
Clark Street from Diversey to Armitage and from Orchard to Lakeview
Sunday, October 24, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Embrace the spooky season and celebrate Halloween at Lincoln Park’s favorite family-friendly trick-or-treat extravaganza – Spooktacular on Clark Street!

Lincoln Park Zoo – Fall Fest 
2001 N. Clark
October 8 – October 31, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This free, family-friendly celebration is full of harvest days fun this October. Fest guests can enjoy a pumpkin walk, live pumpkin carvers, a festive pop-up bar, animal chats, musical entertainment and more!

Nature Museum – Saturday with Snakes
2430 N. Cannon
Saturday, October 30, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Slither over to the Nature Museum for a super sensational celebration of snakes! Trick-or-treat with our resident cold-blooded critters, create your own ceramic snake with Lillstreet Art Center, get up close with unique preserved collections, and participate in a costume contest for a special surprise.

Lincoln Common – Fall Fest 
2335 N. Lincoln
Saturday, October 23, 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
From pony rides and caricature drawings to window painting and Halloween costume contests, it will be a day full of activities for the entire family (pets too!). Enjoy special offers from Lincoln Common retailers and neighboring businesses, take home a pumpkin, and maybe even a prize!

Lincoln Park Zoo – Haunted History Tour
2001 N. Clark
Tuesdays and Wednesdays,  7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Dig into Chicago’s haunted history and the Lincoln Park Zoo’s cemetery roots. 

Pumpkin Giveaway
2625 N. Orchard
Sunday, October 24, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Join Rep Margaret Croke and Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer for a pumpkin giveaway! 200 pumpkins will be given out in exchange for a canned food donation for the Lakeview Food Pantry.

WhirlyBall – Family Halloween Night

Sunday, October 24, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Have your family-friendly event at WhirlyBall! Come in costume with your family and have fun.

NEWCITY – Halloween Family Festival

Saturday, October 30th, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Full Halloween themed party on the plaza.

Halloween Ghost Bingo at Greenhouse Theater Center

Summer House is offering their seasonal special, Halloween Dirt Cups. $2 of proceeds goes to Fight2Feed.

Guests will enjoy unique animal chats, educational entertainment, a live DJ, and multiple bars throughout the zoo at this after-hours event.
