Business Licenses with an expiration date between March 15, 2020 and December 31, 2020 will be considered active until January 30, 2021. Licensees will have until January 30, 2021 to renew without paying a late fee.
Fee Caps on Third-Party Food Delivery Service
The City of Chicago passed a 15% fee cap for third-party food delivery on customer bills. Third-party delivery companies are required to disclose to the consumer a cost breakdown of every transaction, including the delivery fee or any commission or service fee paid by the restaurant to the third-party delivery company.
