During the month of January, all BankFinancial locations are supporting Lincoln Park non-profits. They are collecting funds for Care For Friends and items for the Lincoln Park Community Shelter. If you’d like to make a donation to either of these charities, you can do so at BankFinancial’s Lincoln Park branch at 2424 N. Clark Street.

Care For Friends provides easy access to community, food and overall wellness for Chicago’s most vulnerable and under-served people, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Through its programs, Care for Friends successfully connects people with community resources to enable them to achieve a better quality of life.

Lincoln Park Community Shelter is a comprehensive social service agency serving adult men and women who are experiencing homelessness. Located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, the LPCS has been providing shelter and other basic needs to our homeless neighbors for 30 years. Today, the LPCS provides interim housing, meals, and a targeted array of social services to over 300 people each year.
