The Chicago Police Department has created Business District Hotlines for Election week. Listed below are numbers for the 18th and 19th Districts. The phone numbers will be operational on the following dates/times:

Saturday, October 31, 2020, 5:30 a.m. – Sunday, November 1, 2020, 5:30 a.m.
Monday, November 2, 2020, 5:30 a.m. – Thursday, November 5, 2020, 5:30 a.m.

In addition, please see below tips for buildings and businesses:

• In an emergency, call 9-1-1
• Conduct premise checks often of your business looking for any suspicious objects/persons
• Remove any unsecured items
• If you see something, say something
• Forward any future event/demonstration information to the 18th and 19th District Community Policing Offices or Business Liaison Offices
• Ensure surveillance cameras are working and camera lenses are clean
