Lincoln Park High School has been ranked by the U.S. News & World Report as one of the Top 10 schools in the state and is the only Chicago neighborhood school to be listed in the Top 10. Nationally, Lincoln Park High School is ranked in the top 2% out of 22,000 schools.

Overall, Chicago schools scored big on this year’s list earning seven of the top spots in Illinois. Other schools include Northside College Prep, Payton College Prep, Jones College Prep, Whitney Young Magnet, Lane Tech College Prep and Brooks College Prep. These schools are part of Chicago’s Selective Enrollment program.

Lincoln Park is both a neighborhood high school with attendance boundaries and a high school with three magnet programs–the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, the Double Honors/College Prep Program and the Performing Arts Program, which includes drama, vocal music, band and orchestra.
