The 2017 Chicago St. Patrick’s Parade kicks off on Saturday, March 11, at 12:00 p.m. Before the parade, start your celebration in Lincoln Park. Tickets to the following events include four drink tickets, food and seating.

DePaul Opera Theatre: Suor Angelica And Gianni Schicchi
DePaul Opera Theatre presents a unique opportunity to see two Italian opera masterpieces. Puccini’s Suor Angelica is the heart-rending story of a fragile young nun and contains some of the composer’s most beautiful melodies including Angelica’s lament Senza Mamma. Gianni Schicchi, a delightful farce and hailed as a comedic masterpiece since its premiere, features one of the most beloved arias in the operatic repertoire O mio babbino caro. Tickets range from $5 – $25.

Clued In: An Improvised Murder Mystery @ Second City

ArcLight Presents Architecture Afternoons with CAF: Metropolis
The Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) has partnered with ArcLight Cinemas Chicago to bring you an exclusive monthly film series that explores how filmmakers use our city and its architecture to tell extraordinary stories. The series continues on Sunday, March 12 with the screening of the 1927 German silent film Metropolis. After the screening, a panel will discuss Art Deco and other modern architecture movements evident in the film, as well as several themes that are still relevant in several major cities today, including Chicago.
