Lincoln Park Wine Fest 2017
Vinous lovers unite! Spring will be in full swing when the glorious grape, as well as smooth tunes, artisans and tasty edibles, take center stage at this 3rd annual wine happening. Lincoln Park Wine Fest will again transform the tranquil northside pocket park into an open-air market featuring wine and food pavilions. The highlight will be ticketed wine tastings where scores of varietals will be showcased. Each year over 90 varieties of wines are available for tasting. Tickets include 20 Tastings with each purchase.

Tapping with Destihl @ HopCat
HopCat is kicking off the first weekend of Chicago Craft Beer Week in style with Destihl Brewery! They will be tapping some special barrel aged and sour beers, along with some side-by-sides of their core offerings and variations.

Sour Beer Festival @ Delilah’s
Delilah’s will be hosting our annual tasting of Lambic and Sour Beers. We will be tasting every possible variety of the spontaneously fermented Belgian Lambic beers that we can get our hands on – including but not limited to : Drie Fonteinen, Lindemans, Liefmans, Hanssens, Chapeau, Mort Subite, St. Louis, Timmermans, Girardin, Belle Vue, Oud Beersel, Cantillon & Boon. Italian Bred @ Greenhouse Theater Center
Direct from NYC, comes a Fresh and Hilariously Heartwarming, New Family Comedy about growing up in NYC. Created, written by, and starring Candice Guardino. Based on true life events through the eyes of a little girl, this comedy has attracted celebrities and fans from all over the world. Italian Bred will run at the Greenhouse Theater through May 28.

Tea with the Turtles @ the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
Celebrate World Turtle Day at the Nature Museum! Get up close and personal with all the resident turtles as well as several special guest species, and learn about how the Museum is working with the endangered Blanding’s Turtle in the Chicago region. Ask their experts anything about these amazing animals. Join in games, crafts, and art projects to show your love for turtles.

Bike the 2nd Ward with Alderman Hopkins 2017
Join us on a bicycle ride around the 2nd Ward with Alderman Brian Hopkins!  Free refreshments, bicycle safety checks, and t-shirts will be provided!  Don’t forget your HELMET! This 10 mile social ride begins and ends at the 2nd Ward office at 1400 N. Ashland and will travel through Wicker Park, Ukranian Village, Lincoln Park, and more!  The ride will travel at a medium pace. For everyone’s safety, we ask that all bicycle riders be at least 16 years of age.
