New Wayfinding Signage on Lincoln Avenue

Exciting new wayfinding signage has been installed along Lincoln Avenue in partnership with the Lincoln Avenue Special Service Area (SSA) #35, welcoming and guiding visitors to explore the vibrant offerings of Lincoln Park.

These signs not only enhance the navigational experience but also encourage visitors to explore the diverse array of businesses and dining options available along Lincoln Avenue. Additionally, the signage points out Lincoln Park’s rich cultural destinations including the DePaul School of Music, Greenhouse Theater, DePaul Art Museum and more.

“With this signage, we want to encourage pedestrians to truly explore Lincoln Park and take advantage of the great businesses and dining options along Lincoln Avenue as well as enjoy our neighborhood’s amazing cultural community,” explains Kim Schilf, President and CEO of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce.

Similar to signage on Clark Street, the Lincoln Avenue signs include the Lincoln Park logo which was inspired by Jeanne Gang’s Bentwood Pavilion, a fixture of the Lincoln Park Zoo’s Nature Boardwalk, and one of Lincoln Park’s most iconic – and photographed – structures. The piece is indicative of the intersection of community, culture and business that the LPCC strives to promote.
