Public Meeting for Red-Purple Bypass Transit-Oriented Development

Posted on May 1, 2017

The CTA, in conjunction with the Chicago Department of Planning and Development, is conducting a development-focused study that is separate but concurrent with the Red and Purple Modernization transit construction project (RPM Phase One). The purpose of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) study is to encourage specific, community-supported redevelopment strategies for the land impacted by the RPM Phase One project construction.

Because the TOD study is community-driven, they are relying on your input. This is the first in a series of three public meetings. The meeting will provide residents and business owners with an opportunity to learn about the study, review the market analysis, talk one-on-one with the CTA study team and provide feedback and input on the overall vision for the plan.
