Spring Break Guide 2018

Spring Break is the perfect time to turn over a new leaf! Whether you’re planning a staycation right here in wonderful Lincoln Park, are an out-of-towner ready to scope out the city, or are bringing in visitors from around the world- there’s so much to do! Keeping Busy

Chicago History Museum

From activity stations to workshops, students of all ages can connect to the choices and challenges Chicagoans faced as their city grew and developed. It’s a chance to actually touch history!

Open at noon every week day, Diversey River Bowl will keep you from striking out on fun Spring Break activities! Enjoy delicious food, like Mac & Cheese Wedges and Chicken and Waffle Bites, adult beverages, and lots of bowling fun.

Kings Dining & Entertainment

What do Shuffleboard, Billiards, and Foosball all have in common? They’re all at Kings! Spend the day (or night) snacking on a S’mores Brownie Sundae or a Brauhaus Pretzel and finish off with some games. Lincoln Park Zoo

Open 365 days a year and free of admission, the Lincoln Park Zoo is the perfect place to entertain kids and adults alike all day long. Aside from their spectacular exhibits and beautiful grounds, the Zoo has a special activities going on every day! Start the day off at 10:30am by feeding Holstein dairy cows and end it at 2pm while watching seals at the Kolver Seal Pool.

NY Kids Club- Spring Break Camp

Looking to keep your youngsters busy over break? NY Kids Club has a Spring Break Camp for kids ages 2.5-6 years old. Their highly skilled educators make sure your children are engaged in activities that are full of fun, exploration, and entertainment! Registration is open for half-day or full-day classes.

The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Are you ready to put yourself in the shoes of a National Geographic photographer or challenge your friends to a bird-like dance off? The Birds of Paradise exhibit at the Nature Museum is now open, bringing to life the extravagant birds of New Guinea. While you’re there, check out their fun daily activities, like a butterfly release and story time, going on everyday of the week!

WhirlyBall

This is not your typical arcade experience. Why? Aside from an expansive food and drink menu, along with bowling and laser tag, WhirlyBall is also home of the game WhirlyBall. Ride around in tricked-out bumper cars with scoops and wiffle balls to play this unique, crazy-fun game.
