Steppenwolf to Open New Restaurant, Front Bar, in May

A new cafe slated to open inside the Steppenwolf Theatre Company has a name: Front Bar: Coffee and Drinks, slated to open in late May at 1700 N. Halsted. Front Bar will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight seven days a week, serving coffee and espresso from La Colombe, teas from Rare Tea Cellar and a menu that changes throughout the day, ranging from muffins and breakfast pizza in the mornings to Roman-style focaccia pizzas and smoked whitefish salad at night.
