Dangerously cold weather is set to descend on the Chicago area, sending wind chill values plunging to as low as 30 below zero. The advisory warns of wind chills at 20 or 30 below zero, though some locations could drop under 30 below zero by daybreak Friday. The advisory continues until noon Friday.
