Welcome to the neighborhood! Urban Athlete will open its second Chicago location in Lincoln Park in spring of 2019. The 4,800 square foot facility will offer the latest in fitness equipment and classes. The Lincoln Park location will also be the home of Press Coffee Bar that will feature beverages from Counter Culture Coffee and food made in house.

AJ Canzolino, co-owner of Urban Athlete commented “We have seen tremendous growth of our first location in Ravenswood since opening in February of 2012. The feeling of a neighborhood gym combined with the expertise and energy of our staff is what we hope to replicate in our new location”

Urban Athlete offers a holistic approach to health and wellness, members have access to:

90 unique classes each week which combine different levels of strength and cardio/endurance training that keep participants motivated to meet their individual goals
Heart rate monitoring available during all workouts to track progress towards goals. VO2 testing is also available
Nutritional support to aid members in sustaining their progress

The new location will be located at 1504 N. Fremont street and open from 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
