Break Out Comedy Festival 2017 @ UP Comedy Club
This 3rd annual comedy smorgasbord features a dynamic partnership between NBCUniversal and Second City showcasing some of the hottest, emerging and seasoned comedic acts in stand-up, sketch and improv.

Artemis / The Musical Armando @ iO Theater
Each week a different guest will give a storytelling-style monologue, based on an audience suggestion. Inspired by the monologue, this dynamic cast of veterans will launch into scenes, songs and “choreography.”
CAST INCLUDES: Stacey Smith, Christy Bonstell, Katie Dufresne, Erin Goldsmith, Shantira Jackson, Nnamdi Ngwe, Eric Muller, Tim Ryder, Ben Kass, Pat Dwyer, Matt Castellvi and Patrick Rowland.

The Incredible Hank @ Royal George Theatre
It’s 2017, and superheroes are everywhere. In the city of Sandicago, every superhero and supervillain is competing for their place in the saturated super market – all except for Hank. Hank would rather ignore his superpowers and work his normal job for the rest of his normal life. But when his office becomes the setting for a supervillain’s evil plan, Hank is dragged kicking and screaming into the super drama. Faced with pompous heroes, reckless villains, hapless cops and the hounding press, Hank reluctantly finds himself in the fight of his life – to stay normal.

Science Night @ Steppenwolf Theater
A live interactive game show that invites audience members to experience what it means to be a scientist on the cusp of glory… or failure. Scientists will face off against each other to win the title of Preeminent Tandem Scientists by completing middle school science experiments. Scientists must outmaneuver their opponents all before time – or resources – run out.

Adults Night Out at Lincoln Park Zoo
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to explore Lincoln Park Zoo after the gates close? Well, now’s your chance! Leave the kids at home and head over to Lincoln Park Zoo for Adults Night Out. Guests will enjoy unique animal chats, concessions, including cash bars throughout the zoo and entertainment at this after-hours event.

Old Town Art Fair 2017
The Old Town Art Fair is a Fine Art Fair which includes 2D and 3D Mixed Media, Drawings, Paintings, Photography, Printmaking, Ceramics, Glass, Fiber, Jewelry and works in Metal, Stone and Wood. Each year, every artist is selected by an independent jury of art professionals from the Chicago area. You’ll find returning favorites along with many fresh things to explore — nearly half of the exhibiting artists will be new to the Fair.

Wells Street Art Festival
An eclectic mix of juried art. The tasty cuisine of neighborhood restaurants. A breezy music stage lineup. Activities for kids and families. These are just a few of many highlights of this post-Memorial Day celebration of art in nearly a dozen mediums that features the eye-catching handiwork of more than 200 creative individuals from Chicago, the Midwest, and beyond.

Sheffield Stroll
Explore the history of the Sheffield/DePaul neighborhood, from its earliest German settlers to today’s well-heeled residents. Stroll past Victorian architecture and sites of Hollywood films. We’ll wrap up at Kelly’s Pub. Feel free to stick around and purchase a drink after the tour! Meet at the street-level entrance of the Fullerton L stop.
