Composer Yi-Ting Lu's "An Unopened Seashell" Album Release Concert at the International Museum of Surgical Science

Celebrate with IMSS at the release concert for Yi-Ting Lu’s debut album!
The evening will feature three solo pieces from the album, a duo composition for soprano and bassoon, and a collaborative music-animation piece with Japanese-based animators muzhi Leng and stina-uka.
Performers include Ben Melsky, a harpist from the Chicago-based ensemble Dal Niente; Ben Roidl-Ward, Assistant Professor of Bassoon at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; Dan Lippel, classical guitarist and founder of New Focus Recordings; Sam Alvarez, saxophonist with the Chicago-based Masso Quartet; and the Soprano and Bassoon duo Pushback Collective, featuring Ally Smither and Ben Roidl-Ward.
