Debate Watch 2016: Vice Presidential Debate at the Chicago History Museum

October 4, 2016 | 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM

The 2016 presidential campaign is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Join the Chicago History Museum, in collaboration with WBEZ Chicago, for a series of panel discussions and televised viewings of the 2016 presidential debates, and watch history unfold live at the Museum.

Chicago columnist and political analyst Laura Washington will moderate the panel discussions featuring public officials, political scholars, election strategists and Chicago journalists. The events will be held at the Chicago History Museum at 7 p.m. before each candidate debate.

This evening features Joel Goldstein, Vincent C. Immel Professor of Law at Saint Louis University, a highly respected scholar of the vice presidency, presidency, and constitutional law, for a discussion on the role of VPs in presidential campaigns.
