Chicago Cryospa

Opened in July 2013, Chicago CryoSpa was the first Cryotherapy spa in Chicago and the eighth in the country. Chicago CryoSpa was conceptualized by Jim Karas, who suffered a partially torn Achilles which needed an alternative solution. When traveling to Los Angeles, Jim visited Cryo Healthcare, and after five whole body and local treatments (specifically on the injured Achilles) Karas was ”cured” & immediately purchased the equipment and opened the space on N. Lincoln.

Chicago CryoSpa offers a variety of wellness services including different forms of cryotherapy, a variety of massages, LED Light Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage services, Fat-freezing Cryo services, & infrared sauna sessions. Leading with wellness and innovation in mind, Chicago CryoSpa has recently introduced the very first LED Light Therapy Bed in the Midwest, The NEO | Light Bed, with different modes ranging from red light therapy to green light therapy!
