The Second City ComedySportz Holiday Battle

The classic ComedySportz match gets a holiday smackdown. This is ComedySportz in a ho-ho-whole new way. See teams of elves battle each other for workshop glory in short scenes, songs and games. Different holiday characters will be the very impartial referees for each match and with your help, determine a Workshop Winner. They’ll be singing, laughing and BATTLE. Holiday battle. ComedySportz: Holiday Battle runs through the end of December on Fridays and Saturdays.

Old Town School of Folk Songs of Good Cheer

An Old Town School and Chicago holiday tradition since 1999, Songs of Good Cheer is a caroling party hosted by Mary Schmich and Eric Zorn and features a cast of exceptional musicians from the Old Town School. Songbooks will be provided for this festive and lively singalong now in its 24th annual edition! A portion of ticket proceeds benefit the McCormick Foundation Communities Fund.

New Year’s Celebration

Lincoln Park Zoo – Zoo Year’s Eve

Gather your flock of friends and head to Zoo Year’s Eve at Lincoln Park Zoo! This special ticketed event will take place within the glow of more than 2 million lights in one of Chicago’s most beautiful parks; it’s the best way to experience the countdown to 2023. For this adults-only event (21+ only), guests can enjoy hundreds of dazzling displays, cash bars (beer, wine, champagne, and spirits), plus a DJ, games, giveaways, and more! Animal buildings will be open and a dance party will take place in Pepper Family Wildlife Center.
