In a remarkable effort to improve the reading skills of CPS students, Emerald City Theatre has joined forces with Mary Pope Osborne, author of the award-winning Magic Tree House book series, to provide an opportunity for all 60,000 CPS 2nd and 3rd graders to receive:

• A free copy of Magic Tree House Book #25: Stage Fright on a Summer Night
• A free live stream performance of Emerald City Theatre’s Magic Tree House: Showtime with Shakespeare on February 9, 2018 at 10:15 AM
• A free extended Magic Tree House study guide with Common Core connected activities related to the book and play
• An opportunity to apply for an in-school drama residency and field trip to the live stream performance of Magic Tree House: Showtime with Shakespeare
