Amada Senior Care Chicago is A+ Certified by Home Care Standards

Posted on June 17, 2022

The Home Care Standards Bureau announced that Amada Senior Care Chicago is among a distinguished group of agencies to reach A+ Certification for the 4th year in a row. Through the pandemic and labor shortage, Amada Senior Care Chicago has continued to provide exceptional care for clients while growing its roster of experienced vaccinated caregivers, all of whom are vetted employees, not contractors.

The Home Care Standards Bureau grants A+ Certification only to home care agencies that meet and adhere to their stringent code of standards and ethics. These standards include requiring insurance and licensing, extensive background checks, and top tier education for all caregivers. Once achieved, A+ Certified agencies must submit to routine and unannounced audits to ensure all standards are being maintained, including proper insurance, state licensing, caregiver background checks, training, and education.

Amada Senior Care City Chicago is a non-medical home care agency that provides assistance with personal care/ADLs such as bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and feeding and IADLs such as medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping/laundry, and escorting clients to/from appointments and recreational activities.

Along with being A+ Certified for the 4th consecutive year, Amada Senior Care Chicago is in the top 15% of agencies (nationally) in terms of size. Owners Jennifer and Adam Busch attribute the A+ Certification and growth largely to having a strong roster of qualified caregivers. Jennifer Busch says, “We strive to ensure our caregivers know how much we appreciate them by offering good benefits and paid time off.” By offering an encouraging, supportive culture for caregivers, Jennifer and Adam believe their clients benefit too. Says Adam, “Having a full roster of caregivers reduces coverage gaps, increases caregiver consistency, and helps us customize care by matching suitable caregivers for client’s various needs and preferences.”

The Home Care Standards Bureau was created as a service to families seeking quality home care. The Home Care Standards Bureau President David Fraser says, “Each of our agencies is held to the highest of industry standards. I am impressed with the care provided by Adam and Jennifer and their team at Amada Senior Care Chicago.”
