Junior Chefs Kitchen Receives Recovery Grant
Junior Chefs Kitchen provides hands-on cooking classes infused with nutrition education for children 2-18 in their Lincoln Park, Chicago based studio. They are the recipient of the City of Chicago’s Spring 2023 Recovery Grant Award, the only business in Lincoln Park to receive this award. They received the Community Development Grant due to their commitment to enhance neighborhood vitality while honoring their mission and supporting children’s programs.
They believe in enriching young lives through an adventure in culinary and nutrition education. Their curriculum is developed and approved by a Registered Dietitian and focuses on nourishment and educating youth on the nutritional benefits of whole foods while fostering independence, confidence, leadership and positive healthy habits.
