Green City Market Chef BBQ 2017
The Green City Market Chef BBQ is one of Chicago’s most anticipated food events of the summer! Over 100 of Chicago’s top restaurants and beverage purveyors provide tasting portions of local, sustainable heirloom produce, heritage meats, and craft beverages sourced from Green City Market farmers. Enjoy the beautiful summer setting in Lincoln Park and interact with chefs and beverage purveyors while enjoying market-inspired creations that highlight the best of the Midwest.

Lincoln Park Summer Sale
This year’s Lincoln Park Summer Sale is on July 22 from 10-6! John Dillinger Day
Dillinger Day, started by one of Dillinger’s great nephews, is an annual event which delves into the history of the infamous bank robber. Period cocktails will be served and The Manhattan Melodrama will be shown on a big screen. Following the screening and the interactive presentation, the group will be led across the street to where Dillinger was shot and killed in the alley next to Fiesta Mexicana.

Sheffield Music Fest & Garden Walk 2017
Whether or not one has a green thumb, the iconic Sheffield Music Fest & Garden Walk, celebrating its 49th year, is inspirational, dreamy and motivational. It’s a unique way to savor a summer weekend in the city! There’s also a fantastic music lineup on two stages.
More than 80 of the neighborhood’s lush residential gardens will again be open for the public to explore. There are both self-guided garden tours and guided architecture tours. The weekend also includes food, and plenty of nifty afternoon activities for kids and families.

Chicago Craft Beer Festival 2017
Highlights of the festival include daily afternoon tastings where visitors who purchase a pass can sample from a pool of more than 70 specialty beers lovingly crafted by 35-plus local, regional and national breweries. Tasting ticket holders are also encouraged to savor the day after the tastings to enjoy the great music acts and more as Craft Beer Fest is again being held at the same location as the iconic Sheffield Music Festival & Garden Walk. Rip It Up Rally 2017 at Delilah’s
On Sunday, July 23 Delilah’s will be hosting their annual Rip It Up Rally!
This will be Chicago’s largest free gathering of Motorcycles and Scooters. The Rip It Up Rally starts at 11am and will take place on Lincoln Ave between Diversey and Schubert. There will be all manner of bikes represented and it is FREE to attend.

Please feel free to bring your bike or scooter to park along Lincoln Ave to join the rally!!

This is the last showing of Safe in My Own Head! Life’s many hurdles can become overwhelming when your mind is actively working against you.  A young man attempting to navigate relationships and careers tries to get his brain on his team as he discovers what truly makes him happy. Featuring an original score, this new musical comedy explores how depression and anxiety get in the way of truly living.
