Preferred: Sales experience with small boutique businesses or a proven track record of selling advertising space to clients.
ABC COMMUNICATIONS BACKGROUND
Since 1982, ABC Communications has been a full-service marketing, communications, event planning, and PR firm. Additionally, ABC has published informational resource publications that support upscale boutiques and businesses, particularly along Chicago’s North Shore and in other suburbs north, northwest and west of the city. their clients include jewelers, auto dealers (Jaguar, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley), designers of gowns and jackets, high end and better boutique clothiers, restaurants and custom luxury home builders. They have produced fundraising events for Family Service of Glencoe, Glencoe Historical Society, Sacred Heart Parish, Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Joffrey Ballet, and many others. they have helped with sponsorships, scholarships, and other ongoing fundraising activities.
They provide advertising and public relations, identity campaigns and the best event planning (business and consumer) around. They often produce an opening and integrate fundraising into these business events.
Currently, they offer several networking platforms: Power Partnering which is industry-specific guiding individuals into forming an alliance with others not directly competitive but who can support their awareness efforts. Fifth Friday, a rotation networking breakfast; Ladies Who Lunch, a women’s networking lunch, and Club Candice which is an upscale singles social networking group.
Their publications include Shore: The Art of Midwest Living, circulated to high-income families in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin and promoting charitable activities in those states with advance exposure and post publicity; Lifestyle, the Community Source Book, a resource guide on the communities, schools, and lifestyle for around 100 communities in the north, northwest & west suburbs of Chicago; and Lifestyle, Chicago’s Neighborhood Resource Guide, a resource guide on the communities, schools, and lifestyle for more than 30 neighborhoods in the CIty of Chicago.
