State Representative Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) and community partners LaSalle Language Academy and AT&T are hosting a free paper shredding event. The event will take place on Saturday, October 1st from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at LaSalle Language Academy’s South parking lot (1734 N. Orleans, enter on Orleans.)

During “Shred Day,” neighborhood residents can bring personal or sensitive documents to be shredded safely and securely. AT&T is providing free on-site shredding to the public. Residents can bring mixed office paper, light cardboard and other soft paper-based recyclables. They will not shred plastic, compact disks, DVDs or metal.
